One year ago
One year ago on November 10, 2005 we received "the call"! The best phone call I ever got in my whole life! Vonda from CHI called to tell us about our baby girl, Nan Xian Fu. The next day we waited very impatiently for the UPS man to deliver her pictures, medical information & other information. Max and I nearly jumped the poor UPS man when he finally arrived. I bet he does not get his picture taken delivering packages very often:)
Above are pictures of us taken one year after referral on a family outing to the Ripley's aquarium in Gatlinburg, Tn. Then, our first pictures of Emma. Isn't she sweet?

Goodness, She doesn't EVEN look the same. It has been so wonderful watching Miss Emma grow over this last year. We love you guys!!

Amazing how she's grown, both physically and emotionally. Our scared, somewhat tentative little girls have blossomed into fearless young ladies. If Emma was any closer to that shark tank, she's be kissing it! Hmmm, a marine biologist in the making?
